he database is intended for collecting, storing, searching, adjusting and updating designs and decorative design of souvenir hats made of fabrics. The formation of this segment of knowledge is not an end in itself for designers and engineers, but a means of realizing creative thoughts in the development and implementation of design work for the production of souvenir hats from fabrics using the cultural code of
Primorye. The database of designs and decorative design of souvenir hats, based on basic knowledge of the subject area “Design of functional souvenir products”, allows to study and select designs and ornamental solutions for souvenir hats made of fabrics within the framework of educational and production activities. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that the database allows you to independently create a proto-
type of a souvenir headdress by drawing up various combinations of given design solutions by sorting through possible options for constructive, color and decorative proposals, structuring them in accordance with the logic of the sequence of designing souvenir headdresses from fabrics and helps a clothing production specialist make the most optimal options, create the required regulatory and technological documenta-
tion, and keep abreast of new developments in the fashion industry. The created database has declarative knowledge and has a file system compatible with all operating systems where the database is located. The development is made in the form of a tree of directories that contain graphic and text information. When adding data to the database, PHP technology is used, which provides adding, changing and viewing data.
